Gigabit Internet to optical transport, 123.net has a vast array of products and services to meet your growing Data needs.

Internet Connectivity

The 123.net IP network is connected to multiple global transit carriers, Level (3), Savvis, CogentCo, Global Crossing and XO Communications.   Having multiple Internet uplinks allows 123.net to provide stable connectivity throughout the 123.net network.

Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options are available in the 123.net Data Centers.  The 123.net building features a 8,000+ sq. ft. telco hardened data center that houses cages and 42U solid metal cabinets.  Getting started is simple. 123.net will assign a cabinet which will include 120VAC 20 AMPs of power, a Gigabit or Fast Ethernet connection, along with IP addresses. The first Mbit/s of bandwidth is included, with additional bandwidth billed using the 95th percentile. Order today and be online tomorrow.  All of the cabinets are pre-wired for power and Internet connectivity.

Are you seeking Internet service to your home or business? 123.net can deliver T1, T3, OC-3/OC-12 connections right to your location. If you're in an AT&T or Verizon area, please give us a call or e-mail to check availability.

Managing the Network

The secure web portal features IP bandwidth usage graphs. These graphs allow customers to view daily, weekly and monthly usage. The web portal also features a bandwidth alert system.  The alert system allows customers to setup e-mail pages if inbound or outbound traffic exceeds user defined threshold. This is useful when diagnosing interface congestion issues.

Fiber Network

The 123.net optical fiber network is vast and growing with 750 route miles and over 34 nodes spanning across the state of Michigan Ann Arbor, Jackson, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Lansing, Alma, Mt. Pleasant, Saginaw, Flint, Pontiac, West Bloomfield and Southfield.   Three Metro rings include Oakland County, Lansing and Grand Rapids.

Transport Services

123.net has the infrastructure to transport DS1, DS3, OC-n & Ethernet circuits in  Michigan at half the cost of the other carriers.  The 123.net meshed network utilizes SONET technology protecting your data in optical-ring configurations with 50ms failover times in the event of a fiber cut.  Whether you're looking for transport between Grand Rapids and Jackson or interoffice transport between SGNWMIFA and TROYMIMN, 123.net has the solutions to meet your needs.  Click Here to see the 123.net POP list.

T1/PRI

Interconnected in all five of the Michigan LATA's, 123.net can deliver state-wide local numbers to PRI's.   Click Here to see the Michigan local exchange list. If you're with another phone carrier, 123.net can LNP (Local Number Port) your existing telephone numbers to the 123.net switch, consolidating equipment and costs.   Click Here to see an example call path.

Managed Modem

The 123.net Managed Modem service allows your company to  expand unlimited  local dial-up coverage throughout the state of Michigan without having to invest into an expensive infrastructure.  The service is simple.  123.net will assign and route a pool of local dial-up numbers to the V.92 Cisco Modem banks.  When your customer dials into the  local number, they will connect to the 123.net modem banks.  The authentication and accounting information will be sent to your radius servers for approval.   If you already have existing numbers, 123.net will route and LNP (Local Number Port) the existing numbers from the previous carrier at no charge.

The Virtual ISP service is similar to the Managed Modem service.  Instead, 123.net provides E-mail and user authentication.  This allows your company to be completely virtual, no servers or equipment required.  Dial-up and E-mail users are managed through the easy to use 123.net Web Portal.

Fax2Email

The 123.net Fax2Email is an Internet based incoming and outgoing fax service.  The outgoing account feature converts common documents or images into outbound faxes.  Incoming fax accounts are assigned a telephone number and are sent via E-mail with a PDF attachment to the E-mail address of your choice.
